Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Document Generator website at www.generatedocument.com. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Document Generator.

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

• your email address
• your name
• your company name
• your role (product, engineering, design or other)
• your company size

These details are recorded in PostHog, hosted in the United States, which we use to manage the waitlist. We do not keep a separate copy in another database.

We use PostHog to understand how the site is used. PostHog records the pages you visit, clicks and other interactions, your browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. It also records sessions, which are replays of how pages are used, with text typed into form fields masked.

PostHog sets a cookie and uses your browser's local storage to recognize returning visitors. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosting providers, Vercel keeps request logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to run and secure the service.

We use your waitlist details to send you launch and early-access updates about Document Generator. We use analytics to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

We keep your waitlist details until launch outreach is done or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.

You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them by emailing hello@generatedocument.com.

We do not sell your personal information.

The site is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
